Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is Aevitism a religion?
1
Aevitism is best described as a spiritual community rather than a traditional religion. While it is legally recognized as a religious nonprofit, it does not follow dogma, require worship, or demand specific beliefs. It exists to support reflection, unity, and conscious living.
What does Aevitism believe?
2
At its core, Aevitism is rooted in the understanding that all beings are interconnected and part of one infinite source of consciousness. We emphasize compassion, personal responsibility, discernment, and Service to Others.
What is the Law of One?
3
The Law of One is a spiritual philosophy that teaches that all things are ultimately one, and that life is an experience of the One Infinite Creator knowing itself through many perspectives.
Much of this philosophy comes from a series of books known as The Ra Material, which explores consciousness, free will, polarity, and spiritual evolution.
Do I need to read The Ra Material to participate?
4
Not at all. The Ra Material is a foundational influence, but participation does not require prior knowledge, belief, or agreement. All concepts are discussed in accessible, everyday language during gatherings.
Can I be part of another religion and still be involved with Aevitism?
5
Yes. Aevitism does not replace or conflict with other religions. You can be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, spiritual-but-not-religious, or follow any other belief system and still participate. Aevitism is about reflection, unity, and conscious living, not exclusivity or conversion.
Do I have to believe everything that is discussed?
6
Absolutely not. Aevitism values curiosity over certainty. You are encouraged to explore ideas, question them, and keep only what resonates with you.
